If you have a loan at another bank which does not offer a top-up loan, you can shift your loan to Emirates NBD by simply applying for a new loan with us and closing the other one.

Eligibility

You can apply for a loan top-up right away if:

You borrowed less than the full amount you are eligible for
You borrowed the full amount you are eligible for and you have paid at least 12 EMIs

You have never defaulted on payments

Fees

A processing fee of 1.05% of the incremental loan amount (a minimum of AED 525 and a maximum of AED 2,625) applies.

If my salary has changed since I applied for the loan will I get a top-up?

You can request for a top-up if your salary has increased, but it's always subject to the bank's approval.

If I have defaulted just once will the bank give me a top-up on my loan?

This is subject to a credit review approval by the bank.

I’m close to retirement age, will the bank give me a top-up on my loan?

You’ll get a top-up only if the loan maturity date is before your retirement age.

How long does it take for a loan top-up amount to reach my account?

This normally happens in 3 to 5 working days.
