Smart locker is an automated self-service system, it allows bank clients to access their lockers at any time of the day 24\7.

How Customers can apply for the locker service?

Subscription to Smart Locker facility requires a minimum relationship requirement

Where can customers apply for the smart locker

The smart lockers are available only at Jumeirah Branch (Al Wasl road).

How does it work?

A. Subscribe to smart deposits lockers

B. With the fingerprint reader, you can access to the branch and smart locker lobby area

C. Insert the key card to access the service room.

D. Re-enter the key access card in the service unit, enter the PIN and place your finger on the biometric scanner

E. Select your locker number

F. The Smart Locker robot will select the right box and deliver it to you

G. Open the box with your physical key

H. After use, close the box with your physical key and press Deposit

What's the Maximum weight can be stored in the locker?

Maximum weight deposited in safe deposit box should be less than 20KG.

What are the different sizes available?

There are 5 different sizes:

A. Small

B. Medium

C. Large

D. X-large

E. XX-Large

How much do you charge for Smart Lockers and how do you collect the fee?

Smart Locker charges (depending on the size of the leased locker) will be collected on annual basis. Initial rent will be levied manually for the full year rental at the time of allotment. Successive rental charges will be collected through Standing Instruction (SI).

What is the process to replace the access card in case its lost or damaged?

The customer needs to visit Jumeirah Branch (Al Wasl road ) for the replacement and to register the new card details on system.

Can I apply for Smart Locker for my company account?

Smart Lockers are available only for individual customers.

What can be stored in the locker?

There are no restrictions to items which can be stored in the locker; however, customers are not permitted to use it for any liquid or anything explosive, contraband, dangerous or offensive in nature, or items which may become dangerous or a nuisance to the bank.
