Use Online or Mobile Banking to reset your digital banking password instantly

When you should reset your password

If you’ve forgotten your password, or if you're locked out due to repeated incorrect attempts, don’t worry, you can reset it instantly via Online Banking or Mobile Banking by following the instructions below.

If you remember your old password and just want to change it for security reasons, follow these instructions

Use your debit or credit card

  • If you have an active Emirates NBD account, you need to use your debit card linked to the account to reset your password
  • If you only have an Emirates NBD credit card, you can use your credit card to reset your password

To authorise the reset, use Smart Pass or the SMS authorisation code we send to your registered mobile number. The authorisation code is valid for 5 minutes and 3 attempts only. If you fail all three attempts, just switch to Mobile Banking if you were using Online Banking, or Online Banking if you were using Mobile Banking.

Once you receive your new authorisation code, go to Mobile Banking and proceed with your password reset.

FAQs

There is no limit to the number of times you can request an authorisation code, however the code is valid for 5 minutes and 3 attempts only. If you’ve failed all three attempts, you can switch to Mobile Banking if you’ve been using Online Banking, or vice versa.

If you have exceeded the attempts on Online and Mobile banking as well, you can generate a new code at an Emirates NBD ATM or branch, or by calling us on +971 600 540000.

No, we can only send your authorisation code to your registered mobile number. If you want us to use another number, please update our records with the new number.
If you can't reset your password, please visit your nearest Emirates NBD branch before 2 pm. Don't forget to bring your passport or Emirates ID for identification.
