mePay makes it easy for you and your friends or family to share bills at the movies, lounges, restaurants or just about any other entertainment or leisure activity in the UAE. Register for  mePay, get your friends and family to as well, and start using it right away. 

Only Emirates NBD customers can initiate and receive mePay Split Bill requests. Non-Emirates NBD users can receive mePay transfers, but they need to withdraw their money from Emirates NBD ATMs.

Here's all you need to know about mePay Split Bill.

1. Register for mePay

Follow these simple steps:

  • Download the Emirates NBD Mobile App
  • Allow access to your contact lists
  • Go to Information Center > Profile and Settings > mePay Configuration and Continue
  • Select the account to be registered with mePay
  • Confirm your account and mobile number and click Done

If you need to change your registered mobile number, follow these steps.

2. Use mePay Split Bill

  • Log in to Mobile Banking
  • Click the hamburger menu  on the top left of the app
  • Click on Transfer > Emirates NBD mePay > Transfer funds with mePay
  • Click on Split Bill and select the people you’re splitting the bill with from your contact
  • Enter bill amount and a message (or even emoji) and Confirm

Your request will be sent immediately.


You can also easily send and receive money using mePay.

3. Accept a mePay split bill request

You and anyone you send the request to, should follow the steps below:

  • On the Emirates NBD mobile app, check pending requests
  • Click on Transfer/Request funds with mePay
  • Click on Requester and choose the amount > Accept transfer and Confirm
